Panelists include HopeLab’s Fred Dillon, Rebecca Hope, Director of Programs at YLabs, Bhupendra Sheoran, Executive Director at YTH and Helen Fisher, Senior Research Fellow, The Kinsey Institute
How Can a Bot Discuss Death With Cancer Patients – Ashley Pandya will discuss HopeLab’s development of a cancer chatbot, answering specific questions about end-of-life care and how AI handles times of crisis.
Disrupting a System – Exploring Teen Mental Health – We’ll explain our approach to systems mapping and how we’re using our map at HopeLab to help young people struggling with emotional well-being. This is a hands-on workshop with Chris McCarthy and Caroline FitzGerald of HopeLab and Becky Richeson of The Omidyar Group. We’ll use our time together to talk about key leverage points in the system to drive impact for this under-resourced population.
